What fun is this!
Beside its fun Pickle Picker name, this is a very well designed utensil. The finger collar is oval shaped so it doesn't roll on the counter when you put it down. I can only assume the internals are equally clever. I'm confident it is going to last much longer than the cheapo plastic one I used to have.

Good pickle poker and good for picking up small thinks that fall into awkward places - like next to the gas burner
does not grip and hold
This pickle grabber is too weak to hold the smallest slice of pickle long enough to get it out of the jar and onto the plate. When pushing down on handle to open grippers, it catches and does the same thing when they close. We have had plastic ones in the past that were very good but broke where they were joined. We thought by paying more for a stainless steel one, we would never have to buy another one. This one is a BIG disappointment and we are very unhappy with its performance.
