Good Cook Classic Cheesecloth

Very loose weave - looser than a metal strainer
Title says it all. This product (Goodcook #11899) is so loosely weaved that it cannot be effectively used. Get another brand.

Excellent as cobwebs for Halloween decorations
I saw a decoration tip in a magazine about taking cheesecloth, tearing/making small holes in it, and then using that as a tablecloth (or on the wall or whatever) to look like cobwebs. This cheesecloth is PERFECT for that. It is very delicate, has a very loose weave, and is a good size (roughly 1 yard by 2 yards, roughly). Just run your fingertips over it to create the holes/tears, it's very easy. My kids love it, and I don't have to worry about pieces of polyester fake spider webs ending up on the floor where the baby can get a hold of it. This was a great buy!
